the area has been redeveloped and is still going through further development. i would imagine it will be a lovely place to visit in the future, but certainly enjoyed the visit to the lighthouse today.

A bright, cold morning, about 5C with a wind chill factor - worse out here on the breakwater.

Parked in Tontine Street (free for 1 hour). It's a very long time since I last visited this location - 1968 I think. The Harbour Station is now in a very sorry state, even some of the sculpture figures look like they would rather be elsewhere ! The lighthouse is rather attractive - looks like a pawn on a chess board. Good views all round and well worth the walk.

Built 1903, renovated 2011.

Fairly intersting this for an Intersection - Parking to the west in the pay 1 car park and then along to the pier, the route takes you through a deserted railway station, along the platform (which has a strange statue in the middle of the tracks) then out onto to pier, it appears to be completly defunked and looks like an H&S hot spot, the lighthouse is located at the far end and appears to be in good condition.
