Parked in Treen, walked up to camp site on RoW. Hopped onto wall by a tent and up onto the tank roof. 3 witness rivets found at 3 corners, the 4th (assuming there is one), was obscured by ivy encroaching on to the roof, and despite partially pulling it away at that corner the rivet wasn't found. Bolt hole found mid-way along the N edge of the tank with what would appear to be part of the bolt's shaft lying loose in the hole... unable to extract it. OS says this is a rivet, but it would seem to be the remains of a bolt that was found. ***4 Sep 2022 update. OS Sketch shows the Bolt to the W side of the westernmost hatch, so the hole seen probably isn't remains of the Bolt.

Four witness marks, one in each corner, big diameter hole on one edge at GR. Camp site owner told us the tank used to have a windmill on top and acted as the local water supply. Windmill would have been the centre, probably, so 'remains'.

Treen Water Tank Centre hole which was probably the bolt location

Centre; rivet on top, 20cm from sw corner. Family in tent in that corner of field and facing the tank, was nearly dark before they turned in and I could quickly climb up on adjacent wall and locate rivet.
