Had a quick look for HCU3A when I was in a for an appointment. Even more works now, so no way that the block can survive. Keith

Lots of road changes in the area and had to pay to park at Hospital But No luck today

My GPS places the block on a grass verge next to Leighton Hospital. Made no attempt to search, as the grass verge is very narrow and on a highly dangerous road with a lot of traffic. Nevertheless, I would be astonished if the block survived the building of Leighton Hospital (opened 1972). In my opinion, the block is destroyed

Narrow grass strip at the side of a fast road. Evidence of electrical trunking works in recent past as well as the hospital build.

Verge side location. Prodded, with no luck. I think the hospital post dates the block, so I'd be astonished if it survived the landscaping. However, trig archive does not show it as destroyed. We need a map
