OS sketch indicates 1m N of a stone post. We found a broken off concrete (not stone) post, and 1m E a possible post foundation. Dug down 1m N of each, and the 2nd had softer ground with possible marker rocks in the ground, gave up at 60cm depth. Pasture. Should be there somewhere...

Parked on roundabout to E. Across cattle pasture; as per peregrinus' log, located possible OS reference points from the Sketch, but very inconclusive. Dug 2 holes but nothing found. OS Sketch available in the T:UK wiki pages.
