Entrance now barriered off. Looks climbable but beyond my capability. From NE

Parking difficult but possible on minor road to E. Plenty of paths leading up to this extant watch tower which is a bit derelict. Assume bolt is on the roof, attempted to scale up the inside as there are some foot- and hand-holds, but wasn't able to. This may be the Mount Joy ROC Monitoring Post referred to at http://www.iwhistory.org.uk/HER/0811rocsites.htm#MIW5630 if so then dates from 1952.

SU31 T238 BOLT. Seems to be a well walked area put to nature, with a small quarry or man-made embankment at summit. Bolt most likely on small tower.
