Easy find at first light. 1.5m S of Goodbye from Morecambe sign, 4m from road edge. Large bolt about 2 inches across, but not the usual pattern. Enjoy route to Pennines after a week on IOM.

Often stopped here to look at the ' Mother and Child' sculpture but prior to trigpointing hadn't spotted the block.It must be one of the easiest to find anywhere. A good place to breathe in the sea air and gaze across to the Lakeland peaks

Easy to find near sign - still uncovered. The Bay looking good with the tide falling and a westerly blowing waves and clouds.

SD47 T094 BLOCK. Found on surface behind welcome to Morecambe sign. 2" bolt. Gave it a little tidy anyway.
