Pillar next to cairn at 941 spot height (not the true summit at 943), pretty good condition but slight damage to the corners and the cap is missing. Great weather, cool breeze with very brief snow snowers. Found it very hard going today, especially on my knees coming back down the steps and finishing up along the road. They'd not done a Munro before but climbed a lot around their home in Penrith. Set off from Inveruglas on a baking hot day, all 3 of us VERY hungover. A tough little hill under the circumstances. Regretfully, I took a lot more pictures of the summit cairn 200m N of the TP, and even more of the 2 dogs. A really clear day with extensive views.
