Middle of kerbstone (not in joint, unlike nearby Sandall), as CJO says, 6m S of sycamore tree (no hedge now). Road recently surface dressed, so a little surfacing needed trimming away. Left clear. Easy access path from new crematorium car park to S

(944) Took a little finding, as the kerb area for this stretch of the road is covered by a build up of mud, and other detritus. But soon located.

Found eventually - buried by mud and grime. At the same level as the road surface with fast traffic passing. Wonder what they thought I was doing.
