Easily found, thanks to the previous visitors. W side of busy road, S of lay-by, gate leading to SW side of hedge/fence. Block with pitted (iron?) countersunk bolt exposed.

Rain stopped now all cattle vanished when i approached the entry gate and found an exposed strange bolt. great find micknkim.

1st Find Parked in layby and over gate with barbed wire and into gap in bushes. Weird shaped block or stone with weird bolt. Did not see any cows on the way in till their mooing startled me as they were very close I decided to quickly leave. Left open

The location of the Block is nowhere near the bridge but is at the side of a hedge in a field approx. 150 yards away. The ground was baked hard and resisted attempts to prod with a steel rod. The Block may still exist somewhere under the surface.
