Water tank was sited on Salisbury's Odstock Hospital, which along with 2 others, amalgamated into Salisbury District Hospital 1991 on a new site. OS records this trig as a 'hole', destroyed December 1977, so assume water tower came down well before the amalgamation. Site redeveloped for residential housing; either No 9 or 10 Christopher Close now stands on original location of tower.
