Work being undertaken on the church tower and as such is covered in scaffolding. Unable to see vane or centre. Asked the builders if I could go up the tower to look for the bolt and the answer was no.

TP14908 Tower with work ongoing.

Church of St Mary; Grade I listed; early 12thC nave with many additions, rebuilding and re-modelling over the centuries. OS lists 3 elements for this trig: Bolt - no access sought today; Centre - assume that's present; Vane - standing proud atop the tower.
