Had A run with a double Bag. This one and parked in the carpark in the corner for the NDW. and also got TP4287 Knockholt Beeches. 12 mile run in total. This one is visible from the road behind the hedgerow. just pushed the Barbwire fence down enough to get my leg over! Trig leaning over.

Titsey Place car park closed so parked in layby at start of The Ridge road on which the field boundary is for trig. Didn?t climb over fence, a lean over and photo is enough for me.

About two hundred metres west of car park at the top of hill above Titsey Place along Ridge Road, minor road but busy. On north side of road. Easy to spot at the time, in field over a barbed wire fence. Leaning at about thirty degrees. Would that be subsidence or deliberate attempt to pull it over? Logged as slightly damaged for this reason. Seems to be quite recent as logs previous to this year show it to be level.

A solid viewpoint, just off from the road and over a fence. Apparently this is the county top for the London area too. It seems in the last 6 months, this trigpoint has either suffered subsidence or been hit by something, as it has a SIGNIFICANT tilt on it now!

Didn’t like the look of the muddy lay-by so parked down the road at N51° 16.883' E0° 00.239', then walked back up the road and realised the trig wasn’t near the fence but required climbing it for a hug. Didn’t like the look of this as in full view of houses and farm and field full of sheep and lambs. Tried both houses but no reply to doorbell but then a car appeared and it was the owner of one of the houses who gave me permission to enter the field and showed me the best spot to cross the fence.

Located just into a field from the roadside. FB faces the road so with a good zoom lens no need to jump the fence... unless you just have to touch the pillar! Handy car park nearby. Pillar in good condition. The Marilyn, Botley Hill, is located 900m to the west inside a comms tower compound.

Minor detour from our NDW walk. Viewed from the road as still had a lot of miles to do that day and didn't fancy an early encounter with barbed wire. Not the most exciting views anyway! (PS the Old Man would say he also encountered a strange woman at this trig - me - given my odd obsession with them!)

As previously stated it is not the most impressive of locations. However if you head West along the road about 3/4s of a mile or so to the next parking area you will find a very good viewpoint with an information board detailing what can be seen on a clear day. This viewpoint is perched atop the quarry that can be seen between junctions 5 & 6 when on the M25. Anyway back to the Trig. No Trig visit is complete without the usual traversing of a barbed wire fence. Once done so I found a Trig in good condition with a field full of sheep for company.

Couldn't reach trig itself, as it's about 2m the other side of the fence, so corrected my actually recorded location by 1m N and 1m W. Not that it really makes much difference given the accuracy of the GPSr I suppose.

Nearly got into trouble on two counts here. The pillar is located just inside a field full of sheep, about two yards from the fence. Fortunately the FB faces towards the fence, as I did not intend to climb over into the field. Which is just as well because as I got back to my car, a woman motorist pulled up and asked why I was photographing her sheep! My explanation that my interest was the trig point seemed to satisfy her. At this point I realised that my GPS was missing. A trek back to the site found it in the grass. I'm not going back there.....
