Took my wellies for this one as it is on a tidal island and I figured the best approach would be around the shore and then up on to the high point. Be warned, this is tick central. I deliberately wore light trousers so I could see the wee devils and I'm glad I did. I was covered in them by the end. After negotiating the shore, it was a short rough pull up on to the summit. I always find the Trigpointing App very accurate and it proved so again today. There was a small depression near a silver birch tree and that’s always a good sign. After 5 mins of digging through peat and blaeberries, the bolt was revealed. Took photos and left uncovered.
