Easy walk up soon found the cairn easier than the last but still a fair graft nice brass bolt ,good view to Grassmore range sunny but a chilly breeze picked up now. Super find Chris and assistant.

Found a metal plate saying “Do not disturb OS” 1 foot down. Another 6 inch below that is a large block with 2inch bolt. 23.9 m from rivet spotted by painterman. Three other rivets on quarry edge. With Painterman’s boulder behind you looking to quarry - rivet on left is 5m from BB, rivet in middle is 4.45m and rivet on right (which is flattened) is 7.2m away. Left with cairn on top.

In the area to do the Wainwright Outlying Fell walk but didn't make any attempt to find the block. What I did do was to come a cropper on the moss covered limestone block pavement of Clints Crags.

Great short walk and summit great view from here found a rivet benchmark on a large rock on the summit no signs of the block though

Roadside parking (NY 1510 3508). Up here for Clints and Clints Crags hills. Pitch dark and no prodding or digging implements with me.
