Allotment gates closed today so no joy.

I think previous logger has his BB's mixed up. This one is within the grounds of an independent day school. Gates all closed today and some fairly serious fencing 99.9% surrounds the grounds. I walked the entire perimeter, approx 2.5km, looking for a weakness without finding it (other than 4 sets of gates which were fairly well overlooked by neighbouring residents). Eventually lady luck shone in the form of an allotment holder. Allotments at rear of houses accessed by alley at NY 3931 5760, gate was unlocked, chatted with said allotment holder who told me school fencing was down at rear of allotments due to a tree fall and he was happy to let me through. GZ is a small cemetery in the school grounds. I declined to probe or dig without permission.

followed the gps, and had a good poke about, but we had no luck. a word of warning for anyone else looking, it is a very messy place, where people have emptied there dogs
