Great find! Dimensions as per CJO, directly under cairn duly rebuilt, in neat square excavation. Smallish block, no detector ring. Easy access from church parking to W. On way home from the excellent Wooler Spring Triggers Meet

SE corner of field. Obvious cairn - thanks as usual to Team CJO. Buried block with large bolt 18" deep in loose soil and stones. A significant trig.

Visited whilst on day out with Painterman61, cairn easily found a bit of a dig to reveal the Block & Bolt. (Great find CJO and Bagging Assistant).

Good paths lead easily to the cairn It took a bit of digging out a 2 inch bolt, great find cjo and assistant.

2 inch bolt in red hue concrete block. 18 inch deep. 2 visits and 5 holes dug. This one needed persistence. No concrete ring. 38.5m from large tree to SW. 2m from small tree in hedge line gap to NE. 3m from barb wire in hedge line to south. Left with cairn made of all rocks excavated.
