In hedgeline N of centreline 12m E of beech tree, hole filled with a few large rocks exposed at ground level hence easy find. Easy approach from road junction to SSE, layby at NZ 44217 38532. Another great CJO find, 4th of my day as I head home after 2024 Triggers Meet at Wooler

Parked at the little lay by at NZ 4380 3853 and walked West down the footpath to the PROW, Very muddy today especially digging out the block lots of sticky clay but was able to lift most of it out with gloves on. Nice 2 inch bolt and concrete ring following cjos footsteps again. Good views here out to sea and to Peterlee area.

Approached via steep footpaths through Castle Eden Dene then along a muddy field edge. Site readily identified but took a while to excavate with just a trowel; sticky clay/soil mixture. Concrete Ring and large bolt. Marker stones reinstated. Good views to N. Following in the footsteps of Team CJO once more.
