Quick visit with permission of friendly owner. Trig in good nick right in corner of garden. Original cap. Vegetation one side but can see flush bracket at back. First on weekend trip to Anglesey!

Visiting Anglesey to do some coastal walking...it was very hot, into the 30's. The trig is in the corner of a front garden. The owner, his wife, and two friendly dogs let me see the trig, in fact I was taken to it and given some local history. There's a WW2 pillbox nearby, the whole island is covered with military remains in connection with the War in the Atlantic. You could just ser Snowdonia from the trig.

Situated at No.2 Penboncan, in the garden, the owner is very amenable to visitors and a thoroughly nice chap, had a good old chinwag about the Trig Pillar. Great views over to Snowdon.

As noted this trig is in a private garden and is hard to see unless you are going to ask the property owner. I carefully parked my car at the T-Junction at the lower end of the lane and walked the short distance back up the hill. Could only see the top portion of the trig, but at least I'd seen it (last time I walked completely past it on my ACP walk....)

From road looks like the pillar is in a thick hedge, but it is actually in the garden of the house (no 2) spoke with owner and he was happy to let me take pictures.

Didnt know pillar was in garden so did a couple of laps of Hermon in car before parking by council houses and walking lane, figured pillar had to be in garden and it was visible from just inside entrance but not from lane as hedge thick in corner, no one at house but semi neighbour came out and said it was fine to go look, well looked after, OS plaque and original cap.

Rocked up and asked the owner if I could photo the trig point. Had to ask three times as the bloody dog wouldn't stop barking and jumping at the gate. Owner said - help yourself and he moved the dog. I shouted down to the man that people would give their arms for views like this house had.

Visited on a walk from Malltraeth to Aberffraw which also included Aberffraw trig pillar. The lady of the house was just driving out of the gate and was happy and willing to let me inspect the trig.

Metal plug [indented letters]. Private - in roadside corner of front lawn of house [No. 2 Pen Boncan], 5 minutes walk up road from Hermon hamlet [just a collection of drab houses]. Trig encroached by brambles on 2 sides, but FB just accessible. Permission should obviously be sought if owners at home.

Trig pillar in front garden of house. Thick brambles hiding most of the pillar and a large pile of manure hiding the FB. From what I could see the pillar is in vgc and has the usual Passive trig Welsh and English OS signs on it.
