Circuit from Staveley; access via the Dales Way path to N. Readily located as per Rob's description; rocks removed to expose the detector plate and then the bolt. Overcast, drizzly, humid afternoon so views disappointing.

Steep pull up from the road soon found in the depression, when lifting the lid I disturbed some field mice which were slow to scatter, may have been hibernating. Brass bolt soon found everything replaced afterwards for next visitor. Sun now out full lakes backdrop on display super find once again Rob.

Covered bolt, 'Do not disturb' on metal cover. In the obvious hollow, infilled with rocks bound by grasss, took a while to dig out. Backfilled with loose rock, should be easy to remove if not left too many years!
