Nice find! At highpoint, obvious stone filled hole. Pulled out the stones, spade removed layer of soil, metal rod marker at NW corner of hole once cleaned out. Good parking to N in side road. Nice to finish the day with a BB

From Bury via a well-used rail trail and a footpath alongside the golf course becoming very wet where it follows a stream. A deep ditch and barbed-wire fence to cross to access the 'hill'. Marker stones readily identified the trig - thanks again MickandKim. Hole with loose soil and cobbles excavated; rod marker easier to locate by touch than sight. Reasonable views with cloudy sunshine.

Quick bag first thing in the driving wind and rain, easily found and dug out due to the many rocks. Brass rod right in the corner not middle must be a massive block underneath. Great find mick n kim, earby sat this one out due to the weather, wish i had felt rough all day afterwards.
