A great hill with great views I have arranged the stones so that you only have to lift the big one to view the bolt

Parked to East by large gates to plantation at SE0081183847. Space for several cars there. Up forest track and, where the path divided after 200m (both ways signposted to West Burton), took the left-hand path to the top of the plantation. Through gate onto moorland, round via quad tracks to pick up the bridleway to the trig. Easy find, on a bearing 20 degrees E of N from the cairn. Took the 74 stones out, photographed and replaced.

My first ever concrete ring, ditto Lucy, Ceri and Storm. Lovely walk up from typically ‘chocolate box’ village of Newbiggin, very easily found on summit of hill. Stones removed, bolt uncovered and photographed, stones replaced.

View South West Hooray!! On finding your first Concrete Ring...
View South East Storm's 'Not Pillar' #221 This dog has sat on 466 pillars to date, and poses on them like a supermodel; however today she seriously objected to being photographed whilst stuffed down in a hole in the ground...

DalesBus to/from Newbiggin. Track up the Fell side. Trig easily found; thanks CJO. 49 stones removed from hole then replaced after photos. Overcast day; curlews heard but not seen. The views would have been better for some sunshine. Cut BM on corner of the ruined shooting hut; another found on the descent.

Easily found, stones removed and replaced, would be good to leave a hole for viewing bolt but I thought of it to late. From NNE, Newbiggin, followed line of BMs, many unfound but CBM on nearby ruin and pivot on boulder to N easily found

Parked at SE 0025 8217 in the Walden valley, just room for one car near a gateway from which leads a very good track to 500 metres. Soon found the small flat cairn bit of muscle required to shift all the stones. Station soon exposed nice bolt but lettering very worn. Another great find Chris was a super view here even the sun came out. Hit the 20 mark with the rings .

From Newbiggin en route to Naughtberry Hill. Assumed Concrete Ring was under cairn as I could not see it elsewhere.
