Parked SD943 803 to bag Yockenthwaite Trig due to dry weather for weeks then over to Busk Moss to find the ring. Still a couple of inches of water covering bolt and some lettering. Covered by stones, no stock in field but a few young cows in field you have to cross from Busk lane track. Covering but could feel the bolt and saw some lettering

Parked same as Peregrinus. Met farmer: she had no problem with us parking by her line of farm machinery and hoped we had a good walk. Up the track and across to pillar, climbing few peat haggs on the way. The trig needed bailing.

DalesBus through to the top of Kidstones; the driver kindly dropped me off at the start of the bridleway. Easy but stony track - unfortunately also popular with off-roaders. Short detour alongside the fence - dry today. Trig easily found from CJO's directions; 2" of water bailed to expose the bolt. Rocks replaced after photos (RHW's cairn must have collapsed :). Sombre views. Cloudberry growing well.

From N, Carpley Green, P just N of farm, good supply of BMs en route, even a YoMP. Ring next to grit tray, stones removed, bolt located in water by feel, replaced more loosely to form a cairn.

Parked at SD 9436 8724 just enough room next to the muck spreader. Straightforward walk up the Bridleway to the South. Fairly boggy once off the track but the fences are good handrails. Soon spotted the post and cairn but had to bail out at least a foot of water unable to clear bolt completely but lettering better. Another great find Chris had a problem with my phone on way back and thought my day was over but i managed to get it going again some views but rain was closing in. This was my 19th Ring.

Low wet mist and drizzle. Located 60 cm deep covered in its hole by a pile of rocks and rotten timber posts. Bolt in middle of concrete ring - very faint lettering. Refilled hole with rocks and left marked with a new rotten fence post. Found a Snickers wrapper at bottom of hole so that dates the last access. Marathon changed to Snickers in 1990.
