Destroyed in 1970 according to OS. Middle of road according to my GPS. Couldn't spot Ted's milestone

(2822) Parked on Sykes Lane. Short walk from there to the junction - viewed general area only. Block dating from the 1950s. Marked as destroyed April 1970. No doubt lost to road works.
