Parked in wide windfarm entrance just SW of entrance to Garvilland. Said hello to the lady farmer as I passed through the farmyard then through gate on to the open fell. Initially had to cross tractor churned mud and then dodge the bogs before reaching the hill where it's dry underfoot. Good view.

Good verge parking (NX 1743 6248). Took SUW for ~2.5k to NX 1939 6340 then peeled off on a direct line to Larig Fell and on to Bught Fell... very rough ground encountered. Pillar retains original centre cap, deeply indented lettering; L & RHD side sight holes open, the 2 plugs at front and rear beginning to degrade. Extensive panoramic views.
