Good parking up the steps and followed 1-2500 mapping across golf course to a good track which leads to a high tee with steps. Then across rough bracken and spoil heaps to the cairned block large bolt 3 inches super find m&k once again no wind good views on this sunny morning.

Not a place that I'd have bothered to visit if it hadn't been for Mickandkim's latest success. Easy find once the location had been reached but getting there was the problem. Approached from NE, across the golf course and into woodland but then managed to miss the track and struggled through heather and over the hummocky remnants of the quarry. Block exposed; similar in size to TP8467 Huthwaite Wood. Decent views; not many golfers about despite the relatively mild spring weather.

Found under stone in rough ground Small block large bolt Parked at CP to North then over GC and followed tracks and path on right then up over rough ground to GR

Located at the top of a heather-covered scrubby hill at the back of a golf course. More of our block nemesis - heather and very rocky spoil from quarrying just dumped in piles on the summit ridge. No hope here, although one rocky hump was at correct GR
