(2701) Belper Lane for parking at the start of the footpath. New builds in the process of going up as you enter. Well used path not part of the PRoW takes you close to the spot. Easy access into adjacent field. The exact spot was more problematic. Very overgrown with nettles, brambles and the like. After one false positive, and many stings, managed to locate the block. Took some clearing but all good in the end. OS inscribed block with large bolt.

Good walk out on paths to this one took some finding in the rough nettles and brambles got cut up again. One of the smartest blocks I've seen in a while with os carved in the concrete

A loud YIPPEE when I found this, very satisfying. Easy to get to if you know where to look. I took the footpath on the LHS near the top of the road from Belper tp Belper Lane End. After one field the trig is diagonally Right across the next field (well used by dog walkers). With a printout of the photo it is possible to find the correct tree and then the Bolt which was exposed but would be more difficult to find in summer undergrowth.

1' x 1' concrete slab to side of wall with the higher ground. 1m to NE of wall corner. On surface. Has a lovely 2 3/8" bolt with "O S" cast into the concrete. Best find of the weekend by far.

Searched all through the undergrowth for this one but couldn't find anything, lovely location.if anybody finds anything could you place a stick there for me to find!!!!thankyou,UPDATE,after CJO's efforts on the 2nd august I revisited the area and found this wonderful block straight away,I hadn't been too far away in my original search, gave this a 9 due to the condition of the bolt and the unique OS inscription, have to agree with Chris,by far a great find!!!
