Following Dusty's recent success I made the trip up here to pay homage to his skills. Parked on the road south of the trig point and made my way north along the rutted tracks. Just the last 30m or so over heather. I An easy find after Dusty's hard work. Checked my social media only to read he'd found another one today less than a mile north. How convenient! Off I go.

Revisited today. Heather covered mound, possibly ancient 'barrow'. Prodded amongst heather and after 20min found the block.

Couldn't find it 8th Apr 2019  12:30  by Father Ted

Came here after visiting the summit, if you can call a flat heathery mass a summit. Did quite a bit of prodding around with a long screwdriver but felt nothing other than dejection. My dog looked just as miserable.

Thick heather. No chance today.
