2 inch bolt in rough block at highpoint, concrete ring 4cm down. Dusty's rocks were gone/buried, the only clue was a single flat rock slab in slight depression, which GPS took me straight to, beware there are other rock slabs nearby. Ground was compacted, probably due to vehicles, took a while to get started with spade but the CR then quickly found. Hole refilled with rocks I'd taken out, with 2 slabs and turf replaced at ground level. Finished just as a heavy squall came through. Had parked the car immediately upwind for shelter

10/05/15 - Parked here for walk over Merthyr Common. Fly tippers paradise. In fact the track right across Merthyr Common has been ruined by fly tippers and off roaders. Disgusting. The scum should be forced to clean up their mess. Revisited 26/7/18. So messy I did not want to poke about. Visited again today. Decided there were two possible spots to dig. Picked wrong one first. Found Bolt within Concrete Ring. Did not uncover the rings top as wanted to keep it as safe as possible in this horrid spot.
