Concrete ring 5cm down, with 2 inch bolt, under large stones next to a boulder beside path at grass/rushes edge, easy find. Replaced the rocks, with the 2 larger ones on top for easy handling. From NE, path beside forest with good parking at start, then mapped and unmapped paths. On return took short link to join surfaced forest path and track to make a loop, nice view of resr. Showery day but mostly dry for this one.

Followed the directions to Twyn Croes and to the left of the path approximately 20/30m and after a little search in the long reeds found the small pile of stones as described by Dusty. Take my hat off to you for finding this one, thought I'd take a look after reading your recent log about this one as I was in the area. Quickly uncovered and was delighted, funny, to find the ring and center bolt. Took my pics and rebuilt mini cairn after protecting the bolt with soil and reeds. All good.

Dug 4 holes to quite a depth and found nothing. Then I struck what turned out to be concrete ring about 3 inches under surface. Took another 20min to uncover whole thing. Left with a small cairn on top.
