South of England road trip.

One of the museum staff took me up onto the West haxo, spent 10 mins or so prodding the ground, found a slab of concrete, but oblong not square and no bolt in it. Suspect this may be a buried block as soil is probably 2ft thick here. Disappointing.

Inside Fort Nelson so couldn't find it. Nice views of fort and over the harbour

In the Royal Armouries. Inaccessible today, but is probably on top of grass topped walls in SE corner.
