Viewed from the canal towpath as the nearest location. Apparently destroyed

Took a walk along the canal path, which can be accessed from SU 8738 5238, until opposite the site of the tower. The tower would have been located to the rear of the barrack block at centre of my photo.

Site has been redeveloped with a new barracks complex built (St Omer Barracks) and the trig point would have been destroyed in this redevelopment. ACC = Army Catering Corps.

Land owned by Aspire Defence. No access from Basingstoke Canal towpath. I couldn't see a tower, just lots of barracks
