Someone please take tools and search for A BOLT. Found rivet thanks to jonglew directions, but as he says this seems to be a witness mark, as expected bolt location is 12m WSW in unfriendly looking patch of gorse. Everything else today has been close to given gr. Retrospectively changed to Couldn't find. Gorse encroaching on boulder too.

Found the bolt easily using jonglew’s directions. The boulder is clearly visible from the lane running past Mount Todden Farm.

Round-island walkabout on trig, hill and benchmark hunt. Found this rivet-sized bolt with ease on a large rounded boulder to the E of Mount Todden Farm. Boulder is un-missable, located approx 19m W of the higher coast path; rivet easy to spot at W end of the boulder, not at the highest point. ***Update 12 Jul 2016. Have subsequently thought this is possibly a witness rivet to the actual bolt. Requires further investigation. ***Revisited 2 Jul 2022. Gorse has completely encircled the boulder to a height of 7ft in places, it can barely be seen from the track now. With difficulty penetrated the gorse through to the boulder and mounted it to re-find the rivet, which has been encroached upon by gorse, but searching for the bolt was completely out of the question given the extent of the gorse.
