(3096) Tried from main road but entrance gated with plenty of private signs. Also viewed area from near the memorial. OS marks it as destroyed in the mid 1960s.

Hanger remains on site showing its heritage as a USAF base, Tank gone. Remains of runways now accommodates straw bales.
