Revisit with sketch, all landmarks gone except track. Slight hollow W side of track looks promising, probed to 40cm with difficulty, clay firm even in a soggy winter. Full sized spade might score, but quite a popular walking area

Very stony rubbly ground, W side of bridleway on production of fenceline or thereabouts. 2023 update: OS sketch added. Gate and tree gone I think; production of hedgeline then measuring should give an indication
