Trig itself has great views and a nice bench added around it. The walk however was extremely boggy and lots of new paths have been created since os mapping. Id recommend coming back down the same way you went up to save the hassle!

Lovely walk up to this on good forestry tracks, only the last section is steep in places. Fantastic view from the top and even a wee seat around the trig.

Log #106. Untracked route from Loch nam Bonnach, wasn't too bad. Pillar looks to have had a recent coat of whitewash, and as others have mentioned, has a wooden seat built around it. Great views in all directions - Glen Orrin and Glencarron to the west; the Fannichs to the north-west; Wyvis to the north; the Cromarty Firth and Black Isle to the north-east; Beauly Firth and Inverness to the east; the Aird, Boblainy, Cannich, Struy to the south. Great views, little fuss. Walked back to car via the new access roads for the pylons. [ExP-96/MiP-2/BM-8]

I did this one sometime in spring 2013 on a lovely sunny evening afterwork. Lovely walk but surprised when I got to the top and there were two people sitting there. I've never seen a wee seat around a trig before. Great views as well as a Geocache.
