Durrington Cemetery is quite large with a good road system so I drove to where the block was installed, entering the cemetery from the A24 at TQ 1319 0580 (cut benchmark across the road on #38). What is now Section 27W was clearly not part of the cemetery when the OS were installing 4th order trig blocks in this area, hence, despite taking a spade with me I declined to probe the ground or carry out any excavations!
