My first concrete ring! With thanks to the efforts of previous loggers. Clearly spotted by the treeline on the edge of the green. I recommend approaching this one from the North - I got far too muddy walking in from the South!

Concrete Ring / buried block, I parked in the carpark to the SW then along the side of the road, rough location found with GPS. I found the small tree in the images from previous logs and then a small pile of stones, I have dug this out, so if anyone fancies bagging it, now is the time.

My first ring. It took a while to find the ring and block as nature had done a great job of taking over the area in the five and a half years since the last excavation. Location of the TP is 1 m from the tree with the "N" mark on the trunk (see photos). I also returned marker stone when I left.

Extra point for being my first trig of this type. Having arrived and located the Berries' stone (and golf ball) marker I was on the cusp of accepting that as my bag.... But with a spade in the car I just had to dig it out! Having dug down to it and realized my hole wasn't large enough in circumferance I decided to only do a partial excavation, just to see the ring. What an excellent effort was put in by the Berries, I assume they had either a detector or their GPS is a lot more accurate than my Garmin etrex. I also noticed what may, just may, be a witness rivet approx 0.6m E of the ring's centre. See my photos.
