Easy find and accessible. Over gate to west at corner of road at top of hill. Beacon basket nearby. Excellent views along the North Downs escarpment and to the south. Spot slightly spoiled by litter on verge in lay-by.

Led a group of Ramblers to this trig on an 8.4 mile on a very windy day with the aftermath of Storm Eunice in evidence. Lots of trees and debris around and no power at the Bowl Inn at Hastingleigh when we stopped for drinks.

Close to the road, quick hop over a field gate. The trig had an expanse of chalk spread round it, speculation this might be marking it for an aerial survey. Pillar has no centre cap or plug; RHS sight hole sealed, other 3 open. Nearby fire basket beacon; extensive views.

---(2018-09-11, 12:10:00)--- TR 09994 42786 S3989 I knew that my walk along the North Downs Way would pass this trig but I was in two minds about visiting it. As it turned out, the trig is so close to the unlocked gate that there was no reason not to visit. The view was good though a little misty in the distance.

This is just a mile or so from where we are staying so would be rude not to visit. Parked right at the corner and as PJ grabbed a nearby cache VJ jumped gate to bag the trig. In good condition with views to the south and west.

Walking North Downs Way from Wye to Folkestone then train back via Ashford. a quick nip over fence to visit this trig point .Good views which included English Channel.

Easy to find trig, on North Downs Way above Brabourne just off road. Handy stile although take care on the barbed wire, visited it during 6 1/2 mile walk, starting from Hastingleigh Church, infact passed by en route back as well, but didn't climb stile a second time. After passing it on way back, the heavens opened !!

Best Kent trig point so far. Good views across to Ashford on another beautiful, late summer's day. Metal cap missing and hole in the concrete at one bottom corner of the pillar hence recorded as slightly damaged.

Visited whilst walking NDW on a lovely sunny day so great views. Condition as previously recorded. Accessible over a barbed wire fence but the farmer seems to have anticipated this and built in a semblance of a stile. Field now used as cow pasture.

One of our locals. Soil round base seems to have been eroded more since last visit. Very small chip at base of pillar. Some one has sprayed R Z 1 on east face. Distant views hazy - new wind farm at Little Cheyne Court just visible.

Very easy to located as only 25 meters from lane, a quick hop over the fence and it's in the bag - pillar in good condition apart form stollen plug - great views nice quiet location.

Panoramic viewpoint taking in Stour Valley, Ashford district and further to the Weald of Kent. Coastline from Fairlight (Hastings) and most of the Romney Marsh including Dungeness power station and lighthouses. French coastline visible on exceptionally clear days.
