I passed this yesterday and noticed Severn Trent working on the reservoir. Returned today and was allowed to go and take some photos by pleasant site manager. It would look nicer with a fresh coat of paint

Parked on Church Lane. Compound is inpenetrable, and there was no one around to ask for permission to enter. Hence, photographed the pillar at distance from outside the compound

Out to ride the North Warwickshire Cycleway, a signed anti-clockwise route on roads which passes right by this trig. Passed many times before, but only previously logged 1st visit. A summer like day: warm and sunny. Plenty of sun tan lotion applied before setting out!

8 of 8 today. Couldn't resist stopping for this when on way back to Coventry, but inside fenced reservoir enclosure. Still, 6 successes out of 8 isn't a bad return for the day.

parked at gate. walked up road checking fence integrity. all sound. went to open gate if special school next door. all secure there. back to gates a couple of photos and into car. A knock on my car window & my door opens! woman from School with fellow in support. What were you doing on the school premises taking photos. I wasnt on the school grounds.. what were you taking photos of.. umm the trig point.. oh, so do you work for severn trent ..yes, flashing my i.d. i was just checking the security of the fence (which i guess is true). ok, well in future please dont come on the school grounds (which i didnt). trig visible from the compound gates.. so save yourself the agro and stat well away from the school!

Knew this one was in a compound, so wouldn't make the effort to visit it. Until I went on a cycle ride round Corley. Not much more to add.

Took the binoculars with me and could see it very clearly through the fence. Walked all the way round the enclosure to detect all sightholes closed. Traces of paint. Couldn't see the plug due to its elevated position on top of the complex. Pleasant, quiet village location adjacent to the school.

Unfortunately in a Severn Trent compound so could not be got at, but looks to be in good condition when I peered through the fence. I couldn't read the flush bracket from there. The view from the trig point itself must be pretty good I should think.

Fenced resr, visible from road, vgc. FB studied by telescope from the road; oddly no strange looks from the residents (not that I noticed anyway). Duplicate number: Corley & Overton both S2636. Photos kindly provided by STWC. "S2363, S3351, S3355, S3358, and S6502 were all duplicated"(GRP). Subsequently revisited 3/11 for proper look.

Unreachable in a secure reservoir compound.You can see it, you can, in good light read the plate with binoculars. Today was dull, and I could not be sure, but it looks like another S27xx one S2756? I bought a birdwatching scope here once, I will bring it along and read the thing that way. Its so close that the condition can be assessed and its in good shape.

Pillar on top of reservoir of Severn Trent Water Authority (Avon Division) which was completely enclosed by chain-link fence allowing no access. Revisited on 15 September 1984 by which time the fence along the playing field side had been breeched allowing easy access to the pillar and FB.
