6mm domed hexagon bolt, brass, on inner angle of edge of newer pier. Not seen one quite like it but it matches the GPS location and I don't see what else it could be. My final Passive station :-)

GR puts this, presumably Bolt, where the pier has been extended so it's a reasonable assumption that it's been destroyed. The 2013 Annual Tide Guage Report for Tobermory shows the pier extension and a new Tide Gauge marked at the extreme SE corner of the new bit of the pier, presumably relocated from its original location where this Bolt may have been located. There are 2 nearby Tide Gauge benchmarks: TGBM and TG Aux 2 (no record of the Aux 1). The Aux 2 BM is extant on the same pier, unaffected by the extension - https://www.bench-marks.org.uk/bm39653

Had a good look around this lunchtime and stood at the exact spot the GR gives. There appears to be lots of cladding of the pier edges gone on so if anything is there say a Bolt or Rivet etc, it could be covered up
