On natural rock plinth just lower than large cairn at HP. Walked up and down from small carpark to NE on path all the way. Cloud cleared to reveal stunning views.

Bagged trig as part of a 9.7 mile coastal walk. Earlier that day bagged South Barrule trig, later on bagged Cronk Ny Arrey trig. Full cloud but it was all very high so there was great views in all directions, a few people about.

A wonderful day to be at the top of a hill in glorious sunshine on the west of the Isle of Man, with views over England, Scotland, Wales and Ireland. I can see why the locals like this spot!

Seems freshly painted but the happiness ends right there.. no view as it was chucking down absolute stair-rods.. soaked thro' water-proofs.. just don't talk to me about it! ;-) ..some odd wee additions just below the top of the pillar.. was there fencing attached at some point?

Parked on the Greenway at the bottom of Cronk Ny, walked straight to the top, a hill I've walked numerous times! Very misty, trig in good condition still quite a bit of white on it!

Bagged this towards the end of a circular walk from Round Table via South Barrule Plantation, Kerroodhoo, Arrasey Plantation, Glen Mooar, Glen Rushen. Good view but bitterly cold on top that you could hardly stand up.

Great view over south end of Isle of Man. soup and sarnies eaten in the shadow of the large stone cairn. 10 year old son delighted with the trigpoint and the 'expedition'

I'm very glad I made the extra effort to walk up to this one from South Beroule. Although it was very windy, the views made it well worth it. I carefully noted the extra hooks and stud only to realise that many others have before me! I walked south to the main road and then hitched into Port erin and got a bus back to Castletown - a great day!

"Hill of the day-watch". Visited this spot on a hike from Port Erin to Peel. Splendid views, as you always do from these summits on the Isle of Man. Trig point is in good condition but is not quite at the summit itself which was marked by a huge cairn guarded by noisy birds! I approached it from the south-west along the coastal path, which was a fair ascent. Coming from the east would be infinitely easier but rather less satisfying. If you do come this way, I can recommend a visit to nearby Niarbyl, which is a beautiful spot, and featured in the film "Waking Ned".

An easy walk up from the main road. Theres a large cairn next to the trig and excellent views. The trig has eye rings drilled in on each side at the top of the sides of the pillar, possibly to secure an instrument. There is also a small rivet on the top surface. Plug missing.

Stunningly wonderful. Done on a Port Erin to Peel walk, it's a bit of a climb from sea level. In and out of the clouds at the summit but it's a fantastic hike rewarded by wonderful views - can't wait to go back. No cars, on foot.
