Guess which idiot fell off the gate into the trig field and is now covered in grazes and bruises? Yep. Haven't skinned my elbow since I came off my bike when I was 14. Oh well. Seventeenth and final bag on a very productive day's trigging in Essex. Field dweller surrounded by a profusion of nettles and an awful lot of ladybirds, who are reproducing at a phenomenal rate in the holes of the Flush Bracket itself! Otherwise, a very flat and exposed location, so I didn't hang around any longer than it took to take photos.

Heading south from village of Wix, pulled up motorbike on side of track leading to pillar on the right hand side of the road. Two hundred metre walk. Flat farmland views.

On edge of a track between two arable fields. Has an asphalt plug replacement. Holes under hooks largely infilled. N/S sightholes open, others closed. Paint still visible on E face. Flat views in all directions - Harwich Docks just visible to NE.
