Darkness trig field after failure from the North baulked by wall, shrubbery and barbed wire... Then found at westernmost corner of the trig field from the track further to the west that there is a stile over the fence at the corner of the field to carefully get over the barbed wire section and then easy across the field. Kinda muddy round trig base.

Exposed plinth. In grass field , dry today. Parked in disused quarry to N . Track to east has double fence to cross- awkward. Better to access via stile in NW corner of trig field, accessed from track between houses to NW of summit, past large garden stone with hole in.

Parked in wide acess road to the disused quarry. Walked back up road to the large modern standing stone with a 4" hole through it. Walked up the track to the fence. Crossed over the well made style in the corner. Trig set back in the tussocky grass. Moat still very much in evidence.

Good condition pillar standing amidst a moat! FB faces south-ish with south-ish and north-ish sightholes open. Bolt visible. Easy access across field via stile. Cap present but no idea on lettering as it was massively caked in gull poo. Plus, the moat was about 3m wide! Decent views.

vgc, metal cap, wide raised well-formed letters (although very mucky). Standing in cattle-induced pool in rough pasture with several newish houses nearby. Simplest access is via stile just to WNW.
