We had given up on this when farmer came along. He pointed us in the right direction. He also cleared some of the very substantial growth. Managed to get a photo but not FB. Will be back in winter.

What is it with Worcs trigs and hedgerows? GR had me looking in wrong place for this one, was about to give up after approx 30 mins of cutting 'inspection windows' every few metres along 50m of dense hedgerow when suddenly spotted it peaking out at me from unexpected location (should have read logs on this site first). Had to clear extensive amount of vegetation to access pillar - bramble, thorn etc. Found to be in good condition; original cap in place; 1 sight hole open. Views SE only due to high hedgerows.

Nice and easy parking in gateway opposite in an otherwise limited passing road. Trig status unchanged.

An easy-access pillar, just over a gate from a lane. In a hedgerow between an orchard [rare in these parts now!] and a field of animal fodder crops. Original plug with slightly-indented letters; traces of paint. All sightholes closed. Concrete base exposed about 1" on S/W faces. Some views S/SE/E from here.
