From the Glenella Farm entrance. Followed logging roads until firebreak W of pillar. The firebreak which branches off this toward the summit is blocked by windthrow but soon after it's easy to ascend between the rows of trees. Very tussocky summit area with deep clefts full of sphagnum moss. Good view.

Parked just before Glenalla farm and walked up path before taking first left and following forestry path upwards before diverting off through forest. Tough walk through trees, boggy and mossy terrain. Summit was also very mossy. Great views though!

P track to Glenalla, left at junc and along FB from near top of track. Diverted to avoid windfell at one point and just stuck to trees after that, easily spaced. Mid, Fore & Back, then down by wall to N for Clauchrie Hill. Very pleasant short excursion.

2nd visit, for the HuMP/Yeaman (SE summit) having carelessly just been to the trig last time. From NW; a complex of narrow rides make for an OKish ascent. Bagged the 377m P30 on the way back.

Vgc pillar located on a very pointy hill. Rough surface all over the trig with quite a bit of moss taken hold. Built without flush bracket. Spider arm perpendicular to an edge faces north-west-ish. No cap or plug present. Accessed as per clochandighter's approach although went the full length of the large forest ride before heading SE-ish to the pillar. Came back down an easier ride though. As noted before, summit very spongy with hip-deep sphagnum moss. Very slow going. No views due to really low cloudbase but can imagine they would be pretty good...

vgc, no cap or plug. Built without FB. In large clearing: grassy summit is annoyingly spongy. Fine view. I approached from NW, between old and new plantations, but descended W via narrow ride to forest road: the latter is probably the easiest access. Great view of a pair of Emperor moths on the approach. Also a few Green Hairstreak butterflies. NOTE: the Yeaman summit is the SE top, Fore Fell, 428m, 3m higher than trig
