Parked just outside farm and walked back up drive. Spoke with kind farmer who approached us and kindly gave us permission to visit pillar. Trig in good condition slightly hidden in the edge with all its metal work

Approached from the east through Helpringham, unfortunately the road was closed so it was a long diversion south to A52, west, then north and back east. Stopped on road outside sliding electric gate to house about 150 metres south from the road. Up driveway to house, saw pillar in hedge directly opposite the house. Knocked on open door and called. Nobody about. Took a couple of photographs. Good views to north.

100 metres south up private farm drive in hawthorn hedge opposite house. Knocked on door but no one in. Facing west FB also west but head covered with hawthorn which I didn't cut away without permission.

Walked up drive to 1st house knocked on door , no one answered so took quick photos and left. Trig point in hedge line directly opposite this house.

(680) Parked up at the entrance way, and walked to the Pillar. Two houses at the location, so knocked on both. Permission was readily given. "Oh, you're another one of those? We had someone visit last year.." Pillar in hedge but all readily visible, though the top is becoming encroached upon. Pillar history: Built on the 2nd of October 1948, at a cost of £8 14s 8d. Last maintained by the OS in August of 1979.

was abit worried about this one as the big electric gate at the end of the drive gets the impression you may not be welcome here, walked round the gate and up the drive anyway and knocked but no reply,mostly out the hedge at the moment.

Only the base of the pillar with the flush bracket is visible without having to peer through the hawthorn. The top looks to be intact and in good condition, as best as I could see.

(243) Access as previous, even at this time of year the trig is burried in hawthorn. Trig, Spider and plug all in good condition. Wonder what's in the tin box ?

Deeply embedded in a hedge about 100 yards along a house drive and right opposite the house. Original plug with slightly-indented letters. Some white paint. W sighthole open, others closed. Moderate N views from here but expansive views from the approach along the lane, especially N and W.
