What a cracking little hill this one is! Easy path all the way, and the ratio of 'Views From Trig / Effort Required' is hugely geared to the views. 45 minutes there and back, including a bit of a linger at the top admiring the plethora of cairns on the top. Such an easy hill to reach I can't bring myself to score it 8 or more, however my score of '7' is really 7.9 out of 10!

Footpath all the way (it doesn't look much used and is often wet underfoot) following the fence to the saddle then up to Kelky Fell... good views across the Solway Firth and over to the Blencathra part of the lakeland fells. There's a lot of stone pillars by the trig, a couple of dozen or more, making it like a small version of Nine Standards Rigg.
