YSM0635 Lea Castle Estate. Easy roadside bag, very busy road, parked in farm entrance, crossed road, headed through sticky willies and nettles to the trigpoint at the field edge of a field full of barley.

North side of busy A451 beneath Sweet Chestnut tree at edge of field of golden wheat. Easy access from grassy verge of road. Seems a very strange location for a trig as there is a perfectly good hill just above.

Plug intact; spider stamped TS=JD as per several others in this area (builder's initials ?). Hooks protruding slightly. Below hilltop at the side of a busy road. Pleasant views to W.

Metal Allen key plug, FB E side, sighting holes burried. Unexciting TP by A451, with hill to N. Best bit of this trig is that it is next to a Sweet Chesnut tree, which has provided me with tonight's supper!
