Parked at bend (NX 50302 77431) on minor road that skirts the W bank of Clatteringshaws Loch. Followed forestry track to its summit where a feint quad track leads off towards the summit. The hill is not as bedevilled by tussocks as some of the others in the locality. Great view from the trig.

Walked as part of a 27km round of Donalds including Lamachan Hill, Larg Hill and Curlywee. Couldn't see a thing as wet and clag down. Not the summit though further SW the cairn is 1m higher. Trig all good, no FB cap missing.

Drove in on minor road & parked near end of road south of Craigencallie House. Followed forestry track SW to disused quarry then follow easiest line WSW to summit. Grey & windy at summit. Then off to bag the P11 called Millfore SW Top where it was calm + sunny. Back over Millfore for sunny summit photographs for SS's M600. Then onward to Cairngarroch on easy ground before a porridge like descent back to the car underneath.

Climbed up the steep route from the path. Headed down the ridge to Drigmorn Hill and descended a more tricky route from there. Very misty but walking not too hard.

An afternoon circular walk from White Laggan that also included Cairngarroch. The wind had picked up considerably during my ascent and up at the top it was a great struggle just to stay on my feet. It would have been proper hard work indeed to get a FB pic if in fact there was one.

un66 - Open grassy summit. The pillar is in good condition. The spider retained its original OS centre cap with raised large narrow letters which was stolen between August 2011 and August 2021. All four sight holes are open, the pillar bolt is visible. The spider arm perpendicular to a pillar edge points northeast, compass measurement 41°. The cloud was down on the day of this visit, no view was determined.

vgc, metal cap, wide raised letters. Built without FB. Fine steep hill, narrowish ridge, mostly grassy. Biting wind, no place to hang around. 27 mi circuit incl Merrick, Eschoncan & various 500m tops.

Pillar in excellent condition. No FB or space for FB. Spider intact, and made from some dark metal, rather than the usual green stuff. Reached in about an hour & a half from Craigencallie.
