Tour of the Loch Ness area bagging FBMs on the way Spean Bridge FBM, Loch Tarff FBM and Glen Moriston FBM also bagged Meall Fuar-Mhonaidh (Mealfuarvonie Cairn) with its probably non-existent trig. This FBM was very easy to find right next to the road and a surprisingly nice location for an FBM!

Lovely spot with frost all round. Was worried that this FBM might have been damaged/moved/lost when the new bit of road was constructed. All intact and real easy to spot from the road.

Our first FBM find. Have since found quite a few on our tour of Scotland. Interesting to read that they have a chamber underneath the actual pillar as well. Nicely located by the Loch. Re-logging as originally found as Maxiboo22 but consolidating all finds under the one account.
